Leeds are closing in on the £1.25million capture of Brentford forward Stuart Dallas, with the fee rising to £1.5m.

The Bees have accepted the Yorkshire club's offer and allowed the Northern Irishman to speak over a three year contract.

It appears to be the fourth player set to leave Griffin Park this week after Jonathan Douglas was told he was free to depart, while Hull have activated Moses Odubajo's release clause and are negotiating on a deal for Andre Gray.

The 24-year-old joined the club in 2012 and was seen as a rough diamond that could be polished.

He made 11 appearances for the club in his first season and was seen, primarily, as a squad player.

Dallas was loaned out to Northampton the following season, where he scored three goals in 12 games for the League Two club.

Mark Warburton brought him back to Griffin Park and the forward started to become a regular, scoring his first goals for the club in the last two games of the season.

Injury halted his progress at the start of last season but Dallas quickly became an established part of the squad, scoring two sensational goals against Fulham in the Good Friday Massacre at Craven Cottage.

His form earned him international honours and he scored his first goal for his country against Qatar in May.
