Hull have made a £3.5million bid for Brentford right-back Moses Odubajo, which has activated his release clause.

Tigers boss Steve Bruce is overhauling the squad at the KC Stadium following relegation from the Premier League.

Hull have money to spend after the £8m sale of James Chester to West Brom, while they received another £7m from Norwich for Robbie Brady.

They have made their move for England U20 star Odubajo and tabled a formal offer for the former Leyton Orient flier.

However, the Tigers have failed with their opening bid for Bees striker Andre Gray that felt well short of Brentford’s £7m valuation.
