Adel Taarabt has been left out of the QPR squad for this week's pre-season tour to Germany.

The mercurial Moroccan was shipped out on loan to Fulham last summer before spending the second half of the campaign with AC Milan.

Taarabt is keen to join the Serie A side on a permanent basis, but reported back to training with the rest of the QPR squad at their Harlington headquarters earlier this month.

However, boss Harry Redknapp has cast further doubt about his future after omitting the 25-year-old from the travelling party.

Free agent Gary O'Neil has been included in the 26-man squad, along with former West Ham midfielder Jack Collison.
