The man who died has not yet been identified.

Traffic has returned to normal

Southall Broadway/ Uxbridge Road has been reopened and traffic has returned to normal.

The road was shut at around 9.10 am after a lorry had a fatal collision with a pedestrian.

Sadly a pedestrian has died.

We have some sad breaking news to bring you this morning.

Police have confirmed that a member of the public has been pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a lorry on Southall Broadway, Uxbridge Road.

We will bring you more updates as we get them.

This is the second air ambulance on Southall Broadway in the last week

Southall Broadway was also sealed on Friday, with an air ambulance attending after a young man had his throat slashed with a knife.

Bus routes on diversion

We are waiting for information on the number of injuries from the scene but in the meantime here are the bus routes that are affected.

Routes 195, 207, 427 and 607 are all affected as a result of the road closure.

Southall Broadway has been closed since 9.10am.

Police confirm 'serious injuries' in lorry collision

Ealing Police also confirmed on twitter that there have been ‘serious injuries’ as a result of the collision on Southall Broadway.

Police advise to avoid the area

Ealing police have advised people to avoid the area.

The Broadway is shut and there are ‘significant delays’ as emergency services attend to the scene.
