Southall Broadway collision: Man pronounced dead at scene after being struck by lorry

Air ambulance, Met Police and London Ambulance Service all attended the scene

Metropolitan Police have confirmed that a man has died after being struck by a lorry in Southall Broadway.

A lorry struck the pedestrian in Uxbridge Road near Avenue Road at around 8.55am on Monday (June 19).

The man was pronounced dead at the scene at around 9.18am.

Police sealed Southall Broadway between North Road and Lady Margaret Road while London Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service attended the scene.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

Ealing Police issued advice to avoid the area with delays expected to continue for some time.
