A further two people have been charged in connection with the murder of 21-year-old Yasir Beshira in Kilburn.

Detectives investigating the shooting of Yasir Beshira have charged Ashley McFarland, 36, of Hertford and Kim McFarland, 58, of Belsize Park, with assisting an offender.

Both were charged on Tuesday May 23.

Ashley McFarland will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (May 24).

Kim McFarland will appear at the same court on Tuesday June 20.

Three people have previously been charged with the murder of Yasir.

Sammi Tesfazgi, 20 of Camden, Rilind Tahiri, 22, of Islington, and, a 16-year-old boy appeared for a hearing at the Old Bailey on May 8.

A plea and trial preparation hearing will take place for all three defendants on Friday (May 26) at the same court.

Emergency services were called to reports of a shooting on Netherwood Street at 5.20pm on December 8, 2016.

Mr Beshira, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene.
