A man has been shot dead outside a café in Kilburn.
Metropolitan police were called to reports of a shooting at 5.20pm today (December 8) in Kilburn High Road with the junction on Netherwood Street.
Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to the scene.
A man in his early 20s was pronounced dead at the scene.
It has been reported the shooting happened outside Ellie's Cafe and a kebab shop.
Next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
Police have made no arrests so far and enquiries continue.

As police officers explain the situation here on Kilburn High Road to people trying to pass through on their way out of the station, getwestlondon speak to witnesses who said they heard “a loud bang” outside the cafe.
Another said she was driving by when she called 999 after the incident took place.
One resident was tearful as she described how “scary it all is”, with another adding that it was normally a friendly neighbourhood.

The manager of a minicab firm said he saw a man lying on the pavement being given CPR before around 10 police cars arrived with their sirens blaring, according to the Daily Mirror.

According to getwestlondon reporter Amita Joshi: “Stood close enough to officers to hear that ‘people screamed’ coming out of the mosque further up Kilburn High Road, they would’ve heard”.
'People were filming it'
One resident spoke to the London Evening Standard about the apparent fights which broke out after the shooting.
The resident said: “There was a loud crowd of people, then a large crowd of black youths pushing everyone to move.
“One of them punched a random by-stander because he was too close.
“A fight broke out, with people punching people who were filming it.”

According to the Daily Mirror, fights “broke out in a crowd that gathered after the shooting as women ran screaming from a mosque fearing they knew the victim”.
