A boy has been charged with the murder of a 21-year-old man in Kilburn.

Officers charged a 16-year-old on Wednesday (February 15) in connection with the shooting of Yasir Beshira.

The teen will appear at Willesden Youth Court on Thursday (February 16).

He was arrested along with three other males yesterday on suspicion of murder.

Two of the men arrested, aged 20 and 22, remain in custody and a 17-year-old was bailed to a date in March.

This follows the arrest of a 22-year-old man on December 10, 2016, who has been bailed to return on a date in late February.

Police were called to reports of a shooting on Netherwood Street at 5.20pm on December 8, 2016.

Yasir, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The killing left a community in shock with residents describing a 'massive bang' and screaming.
