Two men have been arrested after a teenager was stabbed during a fight in Notting Hill over the weekend.

Police were called to reports of a fight involving a number of people in Tavistock Crescent at 6.15pm on Sunday (September 14).

A 17-year-old boy was found with stab wounds and was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service as a matter of priority, but is in a non-life threatening condition.

A Met Police spokesman said: “We were called to reports of a fight involving a number of people where we found a 17-year-old with a stab wound. Two males were arrested and taken into custody. They have been charged on suspicion of affray.”

London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 6.21pm to Tavistock Crescent where they treated the boy and took him to hospital as a priority.

The attack comes just two weeks after grandfather Tony Charlery, 59, of Earls Court Road, Kensington, was stabbed in the neck and died after leaving Mau Mau bar in Portobello Road near the junction of Tavistock Road.

John Tayo Wesley, of no fixed abode, has been charged with killing the family man, and will appear at the Old Bailey at a later date.
