Harry Redknapp remains hopeful of keeping Loic Remy at QPR unless any of the Premier League big guns come calling.

The French frontman has been linked with a summer switch to Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and Newcastle, where he spent last season on loan.

However, no club has agreed a deal for the 27-year-old, who has a buy-out clause in his contract, and chairman Tony Fernandes has set Remy a deadline to decide his future.

“I’m not sure what Loic wants to do," said Redknapp. "He will score goals and is a boy capable of getting 14-20 a year in the Premier League. We would like to keep him.

“He would really like to play Champions League football. If nothing comes along I’m sure he will come back and give us everything he’s got to make it a successful season.”

Meanwhile, Adel Taarabt has told Redknapp he wants a permanent switch to AC Milan after impressing on loan in Serie A last season.

However, the Loftus Road chief has warned the mercurial Moroccan won’t be sold on the cheap.

He added: “Adel would like to go back to Milan possibly, but if they don’t pay the money he will stay here.”

Redknapp also confirmed former West Ham midfielder Jack Collison is training with the club after leaving Upton Park at the end of the season.
