Brentford are keen to keep hold of striker Andre Gray but have admitted that, were they to receive the right offer for him, they would sell him.
The striker scored 18 goals last season and has been linked with a move to rivals QPR this summer.
The Bees held out for a record fee for Adam Forshaw last year and they would do so again, should anyone come calling for their star man.
Director of football Rasmus Ankersen said: “We're not actively working to move players on but if the price is right for certain players we'll be happy to negotiate with interested clubs.
“I don't think the transfer window has picked up yet but it'll be a busy few months.”
Head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen is hopeful that Gray remains within his squad as he rates him highly.
He added: “Yes, I hope so, and I hope he has a good season. He’s a good goal-striker, I hope he is in.”
