Rangers finished a disappointing 12th last time, and although the gaffer has been a bit more circumspect about ambitions, the screensaver now for all is the Premier League dream.
Player-of-the-year Hall said: “We’ve got a little WhatsApp group and Nedum Onuoha said that we should be looking at promotion.
“It’s going to be a long road, but Nedum’s played in the Premier League - and nows how good it is.
“You want to play with the best players in the world, and I’ve never played at the highest level.
“We’re on the same road, it’s going to be easy - but that’s our aim, and we all want to get to the top."
