Kit Symons paid the price for Fulham's inconsistent form this season with his job as he becomes the third manager sacked in the Championship this week.
The Whites are sitting in 12th place but that is not enough for the club's board after a summer outlay to try and return them to the Premier League.
Symons was a popular figure at Fulham and had guided them out of trouble after the disastrous reign of Felix Magath that could have seen the club relegated to League One.
However, he has been unable to kick on and was not seen as the man to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
See our timeline below outlining his best and worst moments with the club before seeing the best pictures from his reign.
