James Perch is probably best out of it on Saturday.

The injured QPR player is nursing an injured knee sustained in the 6-0 hammering by Newcastle two weeks back.

But had he been available, there was a fair chance he would have come face to face with his football nemesis in the big west London derby.

Perch revealed the one player that gets to him is Fulham's Chris Martin.

Wound up: James Perch

Over the years, the man on loan from Derby has paid out the bait, and Perch admits he's bitten off more than he could chew.

The Rangers defender has an amazing record for picking up one yellow card but not the second.

Perch might have amassed a whopping 73 cautions in his career - but has been sent off only twice - one of those against the Rams back in November, 2015.

The full-back saw red for a second caution in the 90th minute after charging into Martin, just when his side threatened to salvage a point from an abject display.

Rs lost 1-0 after playing out the final seconds with 10 men. The following morning head coach Chris Ramsey was sacked.

Not the greatest of evenings, as the former Wigan defender readily agrees.

“I normally keep emotions in check, but somehow Chris Martin has managed to get to me over the years. It's just one of those things," Perch said, "but it’s something I can improve.”
