This visitors will also be coming in to this game full of confidence after their convincing 5-0 win over Huddersfield at Craven Cottage last week.

Will there be goals tonight? There's only one way to find out...

Malone on tonight

Scott Malone has big ambitions for Fulham this season.

He thinks that they can finish in the top six - as long as they sort their home form.

Ed Sheeran?

Erm, ok then.

Each to their own, I guess...

Brentford not good enough

We’ve got a bit of Brentford fan reaction coming in to us now - and they’re understandably not all too happy.

BRENTFORD: Talking points

Here are the talking points after that performance for Brentford fans.

Is there an away advantage in West London derbies?

Jump: Kevin McDonald (R) controls under pressure from Nico Yennaris

FULL TIME: Brentford 0-2 Fulham

And there it is!

Fulham are the winners tonight - and it’s well deserved.

GOAL! Brentford 0-2 Fulham (Cairney)

And that is that.

Another quick break from Fulham - the ball find Cairney in the box who twists well away from a defender to slot past Bentley.

2-0, job done for the visitors.

Sub

Scott Malone is withdrawn after a fantastic performance - he’s replaced by Tim Ream.

We’re just heading in to four minutes of added time...

Scramble!

A goalmouth scramble! Kind of...

Corner for Brentford is whipped in - header towards goal blocked, and then everyone kind of just stood there until the Fulham defence managed to hoof it clear.

Three minutes to go - can Fulham hang on?

Ouch...

Yennaris catches Cairney really late with a challenge that doesn’t look good (accidental, though, so no booking).

Anyway, Clarke is off and Hofmann is on as Brentford look for a goal.

Fulham pressure

Fulham are hitting back with some pressure of their own!

Fredericks’ cross was deflected behind when it really could have gone anywhere - before Malone blasted a powerful effort just wide.

This is a really good ending to the match.

Another sub

Scott Parker has come on for about his 100th career derby (no, seriously!)

He’s replaced Sone Aluko.

Ayite close!

He’s only just come on!

Ayite finds far too much space inside the Brentford box after a cross was floated in - but his acrobatic effort is dragged wide of the goal.

That could have wrapped it up for the visitors.

Subs

Aluko over

Fulham go straight up the other end!

Aluko blazes over after working himself a good amount of space for a shot!

This is all getting very exciting.

Button again!

Hello! This game is hotting up!

Clarke again finds space for a shot - Button again denies him.

The hosts are really pushing now.

The goal

Here’s the goal that separates the two sides at the minute.

Sub for Brentford

The hosts have made a change - Kaikai has replaced McEachran.

Will that changes matters? We’ll see...

Save!

That’s a great save from Button!

Martin has an effort blocked at one end before Brentford counter with pace.

Clarke finds himself in all kinds of space, shoots, and Button palms it over the bar.

He’s done really well there, the Fulham keeper.

Fulham on top

There’s not been all that much change in this half to be honest.

Bar Brentford having a couple more efforts at goal - Fulham are still on top.

Aluko’s had the best chance of the half so far, heading wide after another good cross from the right flank.

Brentford shoot!...well over

Well, it’s a start.

Clarke has a shot which sails miles over.

But, it’s better than nothing I guess.

Kick off

We’re back underway!

Will it be more of the same this half? Or will Brentford come out fighting?

Could be more

The Sky Sports lads are giving their half-time analysis at the minute.

Interesting line coming from Peter Beagrie - who reckons it could have been five or six nil to Fulham in that first half.

He’s right as well - and Brentford mainly have Daniel Bentley to thank.

Twitter reaction

Here’s just a selection of the half time reaction on Twitter - and everyone agrees that Brentford need to do a lot more in the second half.

HALF TIME: Brentford 0-1 Fulham

Easy as you like for Fulham so far.

The hosts just haven’t managed to get themselves in to this game yet.

They’ll need a lot better in the second half.

Added time

We’re in to two minutes of added time at the end of this half.

The break probably can’t come quick enough for the hosts - whereas the away side are loving it right now.

Not a good record

This one I suppose is for the attention of Brentford fans - but it’s not an enjoyable stat by any means...

Celebrations

This is one for the Fulham fans...

GOAL! Brentford 0-1 Fulham (Aluko)

The goal that Fulham deserved has arrived - but Bentley is unlucky.

The ball is pulled back to Aluko inside the box - Bentley gets down well to save.

But, it bounces back to the Fulham man, who manages to this time bundle it past the keeper and in to the back of the net.

Aluko won’t care, obviously. He’s given his side a vital lead and a well-deserved one at that.
