Alan Judge has been cut from the Republic of Ireland squad as Martin O'Neill trims it to 27 players for games against England and Scotland.

The Brentford midfielder has been in impressive form this season and was rewarded with a spot in Martin O'Neill's provisional squad.

But he will not make his international debut at this point though, although if he maintains his strong form his chance will come.

O'Neill also left out strikers Kevin Doyle, Anthony Stokes, Adam Rooney and Simon Cox. Anthony Pilkington is the other player to miss out.
