A problem with the traffic lights on Station Road in Hayes is causing chaos on the roads amid the evening rush hour.
A spokesman for the Met Police said: "There's a traffic light stuck on red at Station Road.
"It's causing traffic chaos."
The Met Police were alerted to the issue at 4.20pm on Wednesday, March 8 and according to Transport for London , the situation is being addressed.
A spokesman for Transport for London said: "There is an engineer on the way to address it now."
Traffic on all approaches to the junction appears to be queuing, according to Google Traffic.
