This teenager from Hounslow is one step away from winning a national beauty pageant.
The 17-year-old will head to Blackpool this October, where she hopes to clinch the title and the £1,000 top prize that goes with it.
"I never expected to get this far. It would be amazing to win. It would give me such a confidence boost," she said.
All finalists must select a good cause to raise money for, and Shannon's chosen charity is Together For Short Lives, which supports children with life-limiting conditions.
Shannon, who is due to begin a diploma in media make-up at West Thames College this autumn, plans to pursue a career in modelling.
The former Twickenham Academy and Woodbridge Park Education Service student says she particularly admires the model and actress Cara Delevingne.
