Professor Marcus Cabeça's School of Capoeira will be offering FREE martial arts classes on Wednesdays in Acton.

Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines self-defence, music and acrobatics, and includes sweeps, dodges, jumps and kicks that are all executed to the rhythm of music.

The classes are available for those between 12 and 25 years of age.

Floating Dreams by Ik-Joong Kang at Millennium Bridge

A major installation by Ik-Joong Kang, one of South Korea's most renowned multimedia artists, Floating Dreams is a large-scale installation situated on the River Thames by Millennium Bridge.

Constructed from 500 drawings and illuminated from within, the three-storey lantern structure acts as a memorial to the millions displaced and divided during the Korean War, and a poignant symbol of hope for the reunification of North and South Korea.
