Public loos and pissoirs aren't the only places where you can relieve yourself at Notting Hill Carnival this bank holiday weekend.
That time of year has come again... It's Notting Hill Carnival and you're bursting for the loo but the public toilet queue is hours long.
What do you do? Find the nearest house pimping out their toilet for the day.
Some neighbours will be opening their doors to bursting Carnival-goers at a price, mainly along Ladbroke Grove itself.
Each year, more and more people are using the Carnival to earn a bit of cash by opening up their private loos to the public over the bank holiday weekend.
By the end of the day, using a loo could cost as much as £5 so make sure you have some cash on you.
However, if you aren't willing to pay to use a bathroom, temporary toilets are provided for Carnival participants and visitors by the two councils.
These consist of 270 chemical toilets and four pissoir type urinals. There will also be wheelchair accessible lavatories at all 26 of the chemical toilet locations.
To assist the public to find the toilets, over 100 signs are attached to lampposts pointing to the direction of the nearest one and a handy app can be downloaded from the Android Market or the Apple Store to help you find the nearest loo.
We hope you don't get caught short this weekend!
