Between the two clubs, Darren Peacock totted up 259 appearances for QPR and Newcastle United.
And the defender who watched Hoops get pasted 6-0 by the Magpies on Tuesday made plain which of the two clubs he believes has the harder task this season - as you can see from his Tweet.
Peacock played 126 times for Rangers in the top flight between 1990-94, and then manager Kevin Keegan bought him for £2.7 million straight and he went on to pile up 133 appearances at St James's Park.
He was part of a Rangers golden era that included that famous 4-1 win at Manchester United on New Year's Day, 1992.
But do you agree with him, as Hoops shape up to to try and put their house in order at Huddersfield tomorrow?
