This pesky language thing - or whatever that might be in Italian.

Antonio Conte is manfully learning da lingo, and the Chelsea boss offered a neat line in self deprecation when he unravelled his own comment at today's press conference ahead of Sunday's Manchester United clash.

Asked to clarify: 'Cesc Fabregas has an injury in a part of his body that's strange' - the Blues boss got a bit of a laugh, as did the assembled media, out of his description.

See it for yourself, above.

The injury to the Blues midfielder wasn't so much strange, but in a part of the thigh that normally doesn't see footballers getting muscle tugs, apparently.

Conte twigged the injury might have been taken the wrong way and after getting it translated back to him from Italian was grateful to set the record straight.

"Thank you for giving me a chance to clarify," Conte laughed.
