Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has issued a clean bill of health to skipper John Terry ahead of the big match against Manchester United on Sunday.

Rumours that the veteran 35-year-old suffered a relapse over his recent ankle injury are wide of the mark, Conte claims.

However, the gaffer will wait until the last possible moment before deciding whether to add Willian and Oscar to the fray.

Both suffered recent bereavements. Indeed, the team paid tribute to the former during the 3-0 win over Leicester City last week following the death of Willian's mother.

Oscar's grandfather has also died, and his manager wants to assess state of minds for both before naming his squad to face the return of ex-Blues boss Jose Mourinho and his team.

Conte said: "John's in good shape and trained with the team - he's sorted his problem and he trained very well this week.

"Willian came back on Thursday morning; he had two training sessions.

"I spoke to him, we are sorry for him and Oscar and his grandfather - you then make the right decisions. I also have tomorrow to see the situation."

Midfielder Cesc Fabregas is ruled out with a thigh injury. And defender Kurt Zouma returns to first-team training next week nine months after the France international suffered serious knee ligament damage , ironically against Manchester United in February.
