Causing problems: Craig Davies

It has won him plenty of plaudits from the Bolton faithful, including Bolton News reporter Neil Bonnar, who has picked him out as one of three players for the Blues to watch.

He said: “Joe Mason is on loan from Cardiff and became the first player to score a hat-trick for Bolton for 12 years in the past week. He’s bang in form and is making a real impression on the Wanderers fans.

“Craig Davies is a bustling striker. He has stormed back to form this season and has been a bit of a surprise package. He really gets about and can cause lots of problems so Chelsea need to watch him.

Big-game experience: Jermaine Beckford

“Jermaine Beckford is the man for the big occasion. He’s been around the block, got the experience of playing in the big games and is probably the name people will look out for in the attack.”

Ramires has a muscle problem and will miss the clash at Stamford Bridge while Diego Costa is expected to be rested.
