Emergency services have been called to west Ealing after reports of a person on a roof of a tall building.

Police cars and emergency vehicles were seen in Uxbridge Road, Ealing, on Tuesday (July 18) afternoon.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed it is in attendance and that the incident is ongoing.

Emergency services were called at around 12.38pm to reports of a person threatening to self harm.

Police cars were seen near the Job Centre and the Co-op in Uxbridge Road in the West Ealing area.

Woman now 'safe and well'

Metropolitan Police confirmed that the person on the tall building was a woman.

A spokesman said:

“She has come down now.

“She was deemed safe and well at 5.05pm.”
