Metropolitan Police has released images of a man officers would like to speak to in connection with an arson attack at Middlesex University.
Police were called to Ivy Hall student halls in Cricklewood Lane at around 6.30am on August, 9 to reports of a fire .
There were no injuries but the fire did cause minor damage to the building.
The suspect has been described by police as a white man of slim build and aged in his mid 20s with short brown hair.
Police say he appears to have a deformity to his right arm and may be missing fingers from his left hand.
A spokesman for Metropolitan Police said: "The first CCTV still shows the man, wearing a dark coloured coat, on Cricklewood Lane minutes before the fire started.
"The second CCTV still shows the same man, without the coat, watching the fire burn. The fire was started when a dark coloured coat was set alight at the base of an air vent at Ivy Hall."
Police are urging anyone who knows the identity of the man to call Barnet CID on 101.
Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
