A teenager has been critically injured after he was struck by a BMW in Uxbridge on Friday (June 17) Night.

The 15-year-old was knocked unconscious on the southbound carriageway of Hillingdon Road near to the junction with Manor Waye, just before 11pm.

He is now being treated at a central London hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition. Next of kin have been informed.

The collision involved a white BMW who stopped at the scene. Police and London Ambulance Service attended.

Detectives are now appealing for witnesses and are hopeful someone has information which will be of importance.

DC Charlie Pulling, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Alperton, said: “This is a dual carriageway and there were a number of other road users who were in the vicinity at the time of the incident. A number of people also came to the assistance of the victim.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the collision or the events leading up to it, to please come forward and assist us with our enquires.”

On June 15 a driver was left in a critical condition following a crash near Northwick Park Hospital roundabout .
