With the summer holidays fast approaching, services around west London will become busy with motorists looking for a place to take a break.
Fleet Services, located on the M3 between junction 4A and junction 5, attracts many holiday-makers heading towards locations such as Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.
Thousands of hungry motorists stop by each year, but just how hygienic are the food outlets at Fleet Services?
Getwestlondon has already looked at Westfield's hygiene ratings and discovered that just five out of the 80 food outlets were rated two or below .
Brent Cross shopping centre's hygiene record was also impressive, as every single food outlet scored at least four stars.
So let's take a look at how Fleet Services compares.
All the ratings included below have been taken from the Food Standards Agency (FSA) website and were accurate at the time of publication (July 7, 2017).
Out of the eight restaurants and cafés listed, five of the outlets scored full marks - known to the FSA as a “very good” level of hygiene.
These places include Burger King, WH Smith and Starbucks, which were all reviewed around two years ago.
This was before Welcome Break opened a large temporary building in March 2017 at the services after the site was ravaged by a fire last year .
Since the fire, a number of food outlets - including KFC, Chopstix and Harry Ramsden - have been opened in the temporary building and individual inspections have not yet been carried.
McDonald's, which was last reviewed in 2015 and scored full marks for its hygiene, is no longer situated at the service station.
Two locations at Fleet Services, last inspected in April and May 2017, scored a rating of three stars, known as “generally satisfactory”.
Take a look at the full list of available results to see which restaurant in Fleet Service Station scored what for hygiene.
