One of the victims of the London terror attacks in Westminster worked nearby at DLD College.

Aysha Frade was one of four people killed in the atrocity which unfolded under the shadow of Parliament on Wednesday (March 22) afternoon.

According to reports she was 43 and a married mum of two.

She worked at the college on Westminster Bridge Road, just a few hundred metres from where the attacker ran over victims before crashing into the gate surrounding Parliament.

On Thursday (March 23) principal Rachel Borland confirmed the death, calling it a “devastating loss”.

Ms Borland said: “We are all deeply shocked and saddened at the news that one of the victims yesterday was a member of our staff, Aysha Frade.

“All our thoughts and our deepest sympathies are with her family. We will be offering every support we can to them as they try to come to terms with their devastating loss.

“Aysha worked as a member of our administration team at the college. She was highly regarded and loved by our students and by her colleagues. She will be deeply missed by all of us.”

A total of four people have died following the attack in Westminster yesterday, including the attacker, who was shot dead after stabbing policeman Keith Palmer, who later died from his injuries .

DLD College had two campuses in Marylebone and Belgravia before merging into one state-of-the-art building which opened in 2015 .
