Police are trying to trace two men after an elderly man had his beloved BMW car stolen in Kensington .

The 79-year-old was in a Shell petrol station when he was distracted by two men before his BMW M3 was taken.

Kensington and Chelsea officers have released CCTV in connection with the incident, which happened on November 15 last year at around 2pm on Old Brompton Road.

One suspect was wearing He was wearing a blue baseball cap with a white logo on the front, a black coat, blue jeans and black shoes

They would like to speak to two men.

One is described as approximately 5ft 6ins tall, with short black hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with a white "Fly Emirates" logo on the front, a dark red top and blue jeans.

The second also had short black hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue baseball cap with a white logo on the front, a black coat, blue jeans and black shoes.

Detective Constable Scott Lockington, from Notting Hill CID, said: “This is an abhorrent crime targeting a vulnerable member of our society.

“We would urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.”

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
