A female pedestrian was rushed to hospital on Thursday morning (September 21) after being involved in a collision with a car Ealing .

The victim was reportedly crossing Uxbridge Road to catch a bus when she was struck at around 7.40am.

She suffered head injuries and paramedics from London Ambulance Service (LAS) took the pedestrian to a London hospital.

Her injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening, Metropolitan Police confirmed.

After the accident, at the junction of Grosvenor Road, officers temporarily closed the road in both directions.

The Uxbridge Road is now reopened and bus routes are no longer being diverted.

"We were called today at 7.39am to Grosvenor Road, W7 to reports of a road traffic collision," said a LAS spokesman.

“We sent two ambulance crews to the scene – and we arrived on scene within three minutes of the call coming into our control room.

"We treated a woman at the scene for a head injury and took her to hospital as a priority.”
