A homeware retailer is reopening its Greenford store and will be offering its first 50 customers free gifts.

Dunelm, in Western Avenue, will unveil its new look on October 13 after undergoing 13 weeks of renovation work.

After the refurbishment, Greenford's Dunelm will be the same standard as the new stores the company is opening this year, as part of its expansion programme for 2017.

As well as a new easy-to-shop layout and an update to the instore Pausa café, the refurbished store will have a new 10,000 sq ft Kiddicare department.

Other brands available in the store includes Maxi-Cosi, Maclaren, Tommee Tippee and Joie.

To celebrate the refurbished store, the Mayor of Ealing Councillor Simon Woodroofe will be officially reopening the shop.

Customers will be welcomed on the opening morning by various entertainers, including a balloon artist, face painter and Minnie Mouse.

In addition to free face painting and balloons, Dunelm will be giving away a free gift for the first 50 customers through the door.

“We are looking forward to showing off the store’s new look to the Greenford community,” she said.

“We have an exciting reopening day planned and we hope the local community will join us on October 13.”

Dunelm, based at Aladdin Tower, in Western Avenue, will open its doors from 9am until 8pm on its opening day.
