Uxbridge: Brunel University’s #colourdash will raise money for Michael Sobell Hospice at Mount Vernon Hospital. It's a fun-filled run, walk or dance around the university campus but entrants will wear white and be pelted with a different colour along the route. Halloween make-up artists will give the run a spooky theme, and there'll be food and live music.

Entrants can sign up on the day and the £15 fee (£12.50 for 11-18s) includes a white T-shirt, sunglasses and your own bag of colour. It's at Brunel University London Brunel University London, Kingston Lane, Uxbridge, UB8 3PH on Friday October 31, 2pm. See: www.michaelsobellhospice.co.uk

Wembley: Kids can enjoy a carnival fun fair at London Designer Outlet in Wembley from midday on Saturday, November 1. There will also be traditional fairground stalls, such as a coconut shy.  Tickets are £1 a token and the proceeds go to Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity – the Wembley-based charity which grants wishes for seriously ill children across the UK.

Cowley: Rebecca Batten was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2011 at the age of 21. After five rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant she is now doing really well. To help other families going through the same trauma, Rebecca and her mother Carla are holding a Halloween Party with profits going to two cancer charities.
