"Youngsters can enjoy ghoulish tales and sweet treats at the half-term Hallowe'en party at the Oxfam store in Bridge Street, Pinner, which is being turned into a kind of community hub on Friday, October 31. Visitors will enjoy a 'Room On A Broom' reding from 1pm to 1.30pm, a tasting session of chocolate, jelly beans and doughnuts between 1.30pm and 2pm and a scary storytelling with a voice actor intended for children up to the age of 9 from 2pm to 2.30m."

"Pitzhanger Manor House, Walpole Park, Ealing. 10am-12pm for ages 5-7; 2-4pm for ages 7-11. Intrigue your friends and family with props inspired by the fantastical stories of Pitzhanger Manor in Ealing . Perhaps you’ll make a tooth that Sir John Soane lost while chewing on his breakfast, a raindrop that fell from the painted sky or some fake stones just like the fake marble in the manor house!

The artist-led workshops encourage children to create artworks in response to the exhibitions and heritage of Pitzhanger Manor. Tickets are £6 and are for unaccompanied children. All materials are supplied – dress for mess! To reserve a place you can call  020 8567 1227 or drop by the gallery."
