Twiickenham: Come and get spooky for Halloween at Squires Garden Centre in Sixth Cross Road. There'll be creepy activities for kids between 10am – 4pm from the 27 to the 31 October. These include: paint a glow in the dark skeleton to scare away unwanted visitors for only £3.50; or paint a terracotta pumpkin tea-light holder with a free battery operated light for £5.50.

Free activities to enjoy – find the names of the pumpkin characters around the garden centre and collect a sticker in pumpkin pursuit, or colour in spooktacular characters for a chance to win a prize and collect a sticker. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Ruislip: If you want to make a splash this half term then get down to Highgrove Swimming Pool where you enjoy their brand new inflatable pool session. The floating obstacle course is a great way to enjoy the fun of the pool with friends and family. All participants must be able to swim 25m to take part and a test will be taken before usage. Ealing: Performers from all over the world, from Russia to South America, come together to dazzle and entertain at Billy Smart’s circus at  Ealing Common from October 22 to November 2.
