We all know how unpredictable the British weather can be.

But now you can find out what the likelihood of rainfall is on your wedding day - even if you're getting hitched in a year's time.

The wedding weather calculator has been created by high street retailer Monsoon - and it's pretty handy for any bride-to-be.

To use it, simply put the date of your wedding day, and the region you'll be getting hitched into the app .

According to Monsoon's research, the driest day of the year is April 15th, making it an ideal date to get married.

However, the date is somewhat of a surprising revelation, considering the popular April showers belief.

The data also revealed that, on average, August is the wettest month during the spring and summer seasons - making it one to avoid.

Monsoon has its own bridal collection, and with prices starting at £229, it's an ideal choice for those on a budget.

You can find a variety of different styles including floor-length gowns, as well as midi dresses.

The store also sells a collection of bridesmaid dresses, with plenty of neutral tones, and bejewelled blue and pink varieties to choose from.
