It's getting hot in London, as 26C temperatures mean the capital will be warmer than Hawaii, Madrid and Rome on Wednesday (April 15).

Met Office forecaster Helen Roberts said: "The hottest days of the year look very possible in the first days of the week ahead.

"It will become rather warm for many and perhaps very warm in places."

With all of this lovely weather forecast for the week, here's a list of things to do in the sunshine in west London.

Just remember to always wear suncream; the lobster-red look is hard to pull off!

Go power-kiting in Richmond Park

London's largest royal park offers sports such as horseriding and fishing. But one of the most exciting sports on offer is power-kiting. For daredevils in the family, power-kiting means wearing skates and being pulled along by a kite. Kitevibe offers lessons for beginners to experts for an exciting day out for the families. Those with a less sturdy disposition can stroll through the park among the deer.

Kitevibe will offer lessons from March to August.
