The Rugby World Cup kicks off next month, with the tournament taking place from Friday September 18 to Saturday October 31.

The famous tournament began in 1987, and England have won only once, in 2003.

Matches within the tournament will be played all over the UK, with Wembley Stadium and Twickenham Stadium among the venues playing host, as well as Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Stadium in Stratford.

Twickenham Stadium will host a total of 10 matches during the tournament, including the final, while Wembley Stadium will host two.

Here's how to get to both stadiums during the match days!

To plan your journey in depth, make sure to check out TfL's Journey Planner, as well as dedicated Twickenham and Wembley pages.

Twickenham Stadium

Roads and trains are likely to be extremely busy up to three hours before kick-off on match days, so the best way to get around may be walking and cycling.

Train

The nearest station to the Stadium is Twickenham Rail Station.

A spokesman for TfL said: "If you're travelling during the busiest times, it may be difficult to board some trains. We advise boarding the first train and change where necessary, to avoid overcrowding at stations.

"This is especially the case on Friday September 18, when South West Train services between Waterloo and Twickenham will be exceptionally busy from 4pm, as rugby fans and commuters travel in the same direction during the evening peak."

Plan your journey in advance and leave plenty of time wherever you're going!

Bus

To avoid closed roads, buses around Twickenham Stadium will be diverted or will terminate earlier than usual. Some bus stops will be temporarily relocated or suspended on match days.

Affected bus routes include: 110, 190, 267, 281, 290, 391, 419, 481, H20 and H22.

Here's a handy map of affected bus routes in the Twickenham area:
