Family and friends of patients and staff at West Middlesex Hospital are invited to watch a special 'Strictly' inspired event, next week.

Following the theme from everyone's favourite Saturday night entertainment show, Strictly Come Dancing, hospital departments will be showing off their presentation skills to highlight the recent developments helping to improve the patient and staff experience, on Wednesday, December 10.

The three groups competing for first place are the medical division, women and children’s, theatres, anaesthetics and critical care division, and the clinical support services and surgery division

Hosted by the hospital's very own 'Bruce and Tess', three groups will battle it out on the floor under a giant glitter ball, to deliver the best show-stopping performance in front of an eagle-eyed judges panel to rival Craig Darcey, Len and Bruno, who will have their own scoring paddle.

They will be marked on their delivery, content and timings with the Strictly theme music and video clips during the breaks.

Patient experience project manager, Sukhvinder Hampal, said: “We hope to see as many staff, patients and members of the public there as possible for what is sure to be a fun and informative afternoon."

The patient and staff experience event will be held in the hospital's conference room, education centre, on Wednesday, December 10, from 12.15pm for lunch, and show starts at 12.35pm until 2.45pm.

Parking is free.
