Prudential RideLondon takes place this weekend (on Saturday August 1 and Sunday August 2); but after last year's rainy festival, what does the weather have in store?
A spokeswoman for the Met Office told getwestlondon: "The weather will see an improving week and into the weekend.
"It will be a fairly dry weekend, with more sunshine on Saturday.
"On Saturday, there will be some patchy cloud and sunshine; the temperatures will be in the low 20s, perhaps 21C/22C. There may be some prolonged sunshine, which will bring the temperature up.
"It will be similar on Sunday; some more cloud around, but still staying warm.
"There will be some wind, but a chance of getting some warm air from the continent, so it may well creep up into the mid-20s to 25C.
"Overall, it will be a little cloudier on Sunday, but rain looks quite unlikely."
