With a high octane fusion of magic, pyrotechnics, illusion, death-defying stunts and never-before-seen flying without wires (with the help of a wind turbine), adults & children will find themselves immersed in Neverland.
They'll be flying alongside Peter Pan, adventuring with Lost Boys, face-to-face with pirates and hand-in-hand with Tinkerbell. Even a story that never ends has to begin somewhere and this year’s foremost arena spectacular Peter Pan: The Never Ending Story has officially begun its maiden voyage of the UK, opening to uproarious applause at Birmingham’s NIA last Friday 13 December.
A full house watched the classic J.M Barrie tale unfold on-stage with Stacey Solomon’s Tinker Bell receiving a rapturous welcome as she burst on to stage in a shower of fireworks.
With its first stop on its UK tour complete, the show prepares to travel the length of the country over the next month, stopping at London’s Wembley Arena from January 2-4. Judging by the standing ovations and deafening cheers left echoing across the Midlands, it brings with it the promise of many more enthralling nights to come.
You could almost hear the shattering of expectations across the arena as those anticipating Panto were met with the magnitude of the choreography, special effects and arena anthems. This show redefines ‘Arena Spectacular’ with serious panache and a rather hefty pinch of fairy dust.
