Carnival fever hits the capital this summer as Notting Hill Carnival returns.

Filled with vivid, colourful costumes and Caribbean rhythms, the celebrations will take place in London throughout the August bank holiday weekend.

Festivities will start with warm up events such as the Calypso Tent on Friday August 25 and an open air music session on Saturday August 26.

The music continues on Sunday August 27 and is followed by the Children's Day Carnival, before the main event on Monday August 28.

You can find out more about the dates and the events here - but if you're planning on heading to the carnival, here's all you need to know about travelling on the Tube.

Some stations will remain open during the carnival, but are likely to have amended operating times.
