Now in its tenth year, National Puppy Day - possibly the best National Day ever! - falls on Wednesday March 23.
According to the National Puppy Day website , the day was invented to promote adoption of puppies, as well as a day to celebrate and take care of your beloved pets.
They said: "National Puppy Day is a special day to celebrate the magic and unconditional love that puppies bring to our lives. But more importantly, it's a day to help save orphaned puppies across the globe and educate the public about the horrors of puppy mills."
We've chosen to celebrate the day by looking through readers' photos of their adorable pet pups.
But just because it's Puppy Day doesn't mean older doggies shouldn't get a look in; so far we've had pictures of dogs young and old, from Staffies to Poodles, and even some of our own getwestlondon reporters' pets.
