Marks and Spencer's customers were warned of a recall notice issued by the Food Standards Agency on Thursday (January 25).

The major retailer is recalling their Gluten Free Scotch Eggs as they contain undeclared gluten which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to gluten.

A statement on the Food Standards Agency website states:"Marks & Spencer is recalling 2 Gluten Free Scotch Eggs because they contain undeclared gluten which is not mentioned on the label.

"This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to gluten."
