With the big pregnancy reveal over-shadowing many of the snarkier plot-lines in the series premiere last week, tensions erupted within the Made In Chelsea cast on Monday.
Having made a bold statement at the Russian Ball with his compliments towards Louise Thompson, new-boy James Sandford, found himself being warned off the pint-sized beauty by her jealous boyfriend, Ryan Libbey.
Clashing at a party thrown for Binky and JP's unborn baby, the two muscular cast-members squared off with each other, as a furious Ryan warned the latest Chelsea Casanova to keep his 'eyes off of Louise'.
With half the cast having fled London for the Maldives, the rest of the MIC crew were treated to an "Is it a boy or is it a girl party" hosted by Ollie Locke.
Revealing they were happily expecting a girl to their friends, Binky and JP's happy news was soon swept away by a classic Chelsea face-off.
Having been goaded numerous time about James' admiration for Louise, Ryan couldn't contain his anger anymore.
Marching up to the towering Irish rugby player, the seething personal trainer said: "You've been giving it the big lips about Louise!"
James found Ryan's statement confusing, seen as it was Louise who had made sure to find him on social media - something she strenuously denied (of course).
Seemingly apoplectic with rage over James and Louise's new status as Facebook friends, Ryan threw his toys out of the pram, and firmly at James head.
As the newboy kept his calm, he quietly told his apparent love-rival that he was being "really insecure" about the whole thing; something which only seemed to make things worse.
"Do you think you're a threat towards my relationship with Louise?!" Asked Ryan, as he struggled not to shout.
"You go through the whole playbook and have a shot, mate!"
And as James continued to tell the angry personal trainer he was being insecure and defencive, Ryan shot back (very defensively):
"This is not me being defencive! You're just a fan. There's a hundred people like you all lining up to take a shot at the title [Louise]!"
And as Ryan had finally met someone taller and beefier than him in Chelsea, he chose to take James' advice and walk on - though not without one parting shot.
"Just keep your eyes off Louise," he snarled - though James didn't appear to be taking any notice whatsoever of his threat.
Other relationship dramas seemed to flare up throughout the episode, with Julius seemingly turning into the most innocent tropical playboy in existence, as he switched his affections from new girl Daisy to other new girl Ella.
Elsewhere on the 'Love Island' it seemed that Sam Thompson and Tiffany Watson's tumultuous relationship was in the middle of a slow-motion car crash as they appeared to signal their break-up.
"We can't carry on like this," a grim Sam told his girlfriend, who responded with the question: "Do you even want to be in this relationship?"
Apparently with an answer prepared for such a question, Sam shot back (far-too quickly): "Not with this person you're being right now," before sloping off into the night.
