The Ideal Home Show will be coming to Olympia for the first time this month from having been previously held at Earl's Court since 1978.

The show is returning to its original 1908 home at Olympia, starting on Friday (March 20) and running until April 6.

As a reminder of the last time the show was in Kensington - more than a century ago -drivers dressed in Edwardian attire will be providing free transport from Earl's Court to the new venue for the event.

The Ideal Home Show will provide inspiration and ideas for home owners, and will host famous faces such as Katie Piper and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

There will be 600 brands and exhibitors present, offering products you can't find on the high street.

Lee Newton, CEO of the Ideal Home Show organisers, said: “We're so excited that we're returning back to Olympia London where it all began, however some of our regular visitors may turn up at Earl's Court when the show launches on Friday.

“In 1978, when the show moved from Olympia to Earl's Court tens of thousands went to the wrong venue so our unique Edwardian taxi service will not only ensure no one misses out, but also allow guests to arrive in style.”
