Since Twitter became a reality a decade ago today, it is fair to say the world of communication has changed beyond recognition.

The first ever tweet was sent on March 21 by one of the site's student founders Jack Dorsey, and some tweets that followed have gone down as unforgettable moments seen by the world .

There have been plenty of memorable moments... And moments many would much rather forget - including embarrassing Q&A sessions , cringeworthy "first Tweets" and 140-character messages that have got people into a lot of trouble .
