Harrow: Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust at Cedars Youth & Community Centre is offering five days of football fun for boys and girls aged five to 13 years-old. There will be fun games, competitions and prizes, there are fully qualified coaches at a top class indoor and outdoor facility. The camp will run all week from 10am to 3pm and costs £40 it will take place at Cedars Youth centre, Chicheley Road, Harrow, HA3 6QH
Uxbridge: 11am-4pm. Pavilions shopping centre will be hosting a fantastic free children’s event packed full of spooky fun! At the Halloween Workshop, your little witches and wizards will be taught to make potions, decorate treat or treat bags to take home and our face painter will be on-site to put the finishing touches to any Halloween costume.
Hounslow: Cranford Park. During half-term week, why not bring the children to learn how to make bricks? (Free, booking required.) The event will take place on Wednesday October 29 between 10am and 12 noon in the Stable Courtyard, TW5 9RZ. You will also be able to make a souvenir Halloween clay decoration, and a Victorian toy to take home, have your photo taken as a Victorian brick worker, and learn more about this local industry.
Hayes and Stockley were centres of brick-making in the 19th century and the London Foundation’s heritage project aims to celebrate the history and re-create the skills of making clay bricks by traditional methods.
