Visitors to Kensington Palace can enjoy half-price entry if they purchase their tickets online.

The palace has been home to royalty for 300 years and is the current abode of Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge .

Historic Royal Palaces, which is responsible for the palace, is offering the discount to visits before February 13. The online promotion means tickets (including voluntary donation) are £8.25 for adults and £6.82 for concessions. Children under 16 are free and must be accompanied by an adult.

Kensington Palace will be closed from January 26-30. Half-price tickets can be bought from www.hrp.org.uk
