Remembrance Sunday is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we have today.

Brent

Sunday November 9, The Royal British Legion Remembrance Service at 10.45am at St John the Evangelist Church in Crawford Avenue, Wembley.

Sunday, November 9. Borough Civic Remembrance Service and Parade at 1.50pm at The Memorial Site in Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Barham Park in Harrow Road, Sudbury.

Ealing

The Greenford Branch of the Royal British Legion will be marching from their headquarters in Oldfield Lane South to the war memorial at the junction of Oldfield Lane South and The Broadway. They will set off at about 10.20 before the service at the memorial at 11am.

Southall's parade begins in Manor Park and makes it's way to Southall War Memorial in The Green for a service at 11am. The parade will then continue through the town.

A service will be held at the Ealing war memorial in Ealing Green in front of Pitzhanger Manor. The two minutes silence will be held at 11am.

Hammersmith & Fulham

A procession through Fulham will gather in Parsons Green Lane at 10.20 and march via New King’s Road to the Fulham War Memorial in Vicarage Garden where a service will be held by Reverend Joseph Hawes, vicar of All Saint’s Church. The parade will then march to the Territorial Army Centre in Fulham High Street.

Another procession will gather in Sulgrave Road, Shepherd’s Bush at 10.15am and march to Shepherds Bush Green War Memorial where a service will be conducted by Father Richard Nesbitt, parish priest of Our Lady of Fatima. They will then march past Shepherds Bush Road and finish in Westwick Gardens.

Harrow

A Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service from St Ann’s Road, Harrow. Parade led by the Glen Trew Pipe Band leaves at 10am and arrives at the Harrow War Memorial outside Harrow Civic Centre in Station Road, Harrow, at 10.45am for the ceremony.

Remembrance Day service from 10.40am at Pinner War Memorial in High Street, Pinner.

Tuesday, November 11, Short Remembrance Day service from 10.45am at West House in Pinner Memorial Park, Chapel Lane, Pinner.

Hillingdon

Harlington: A parade will commence at 10.15am from the 1st Harlington Scout headquarters, High Street, for a service at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, followed by a short service at the war memorial in the church yard.

Hayes: A parade will assemble in Barra Hall Park, off Church Road, at 9am, close to the band stand. It will move off at 9.15am for a service of remembrance in St Mary’s Church, Church Road. The service will commence at 9.45am, followed by a short act of remembrance at the war memorial at the corner of the church yard at 11am.

There will be a service of remembrance at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Botwell Lane, at 10am

West Drayton/Yiewsley: A parade will assemble outside West Drayton library in Station Road at 10am and march through High Street to St Matthew’s Church, High Street, Yiewsley, for a 10.30am service followed by laying an act of remembrance at the war memorial in the church gardens at 11am.

Uxbridge: There will be an all-age, civic parade service at St Margaret’s Church, Windsor Street at 9.30am followed by a parade and act of remembrance at 10.50am at the Uxbridge Peace Memorial on Mahjacks Roundabout.

Hillingdon: A parade will march off from Hillingdon fire station, Uxbridge Road, at 10.30am to attend a short service and wreath laying at the war memorial in the church yard of St John’s Baptist Church, Hillingdon Hill at 10.50am. There will be an act of remembrance at the memorial at 11am, followed by a service in the church.

Ruislip: At 10.25am a parade will march off from the bus station outside Ruislip station to arrive for a 10.45am service of remembrance at the war memorial at the Manor Farm complex in Bury Street. The service will be conducted by The Rt Rev Pete Broadbent, Bishop of Willesden.

There will also be a 30min service at the Polish War Memorial in West End Road starting at 10.30am.

Eastcote: A parade will move off from Abbotsbury Gardens, Eastcote at 10.40am and proceed along Field End Road to the Eastcote war memorial, near the junction with Deane Croft Road, for a service which will end at approximately 11.20am. The parade will return along Field End Road, passing the saluting dais, to Abbotsbury Gardens from where it will be dismissed. The Mayor of Hillingdon, Councillor Catherine Dann, will attend the ceremony.

Northwood: A parade will meet at the Northwood war memorial in Green Lane at 10.30am, then a service of remembrance will be conducted at 10.45am.

Harefield: A service will be held at 3pm at the war memorial on The Green.

Hounslow

Bedfont: A service takes place at St Mary's Church, Bedfont, from 10.30am, with Councillor Sachin Gupta attending.

Brentford: Councillor Ruth Cadbury will attend the service at Brentford Library from 10.30am.

Chiswick: Hounslow Council leader Steve Curran will lay the wreath at Chiswick war memorial at 10.30am, followed by a remembrance service at Christ Church, in Turnham Green.

Cranford: Councillor Daanish Saeed will be present at Cranford war memorial for a joint act of remembrance lead by the Anglican and Catholic parishes of Cranford at 10.45am.

Feltham: Hounslow mayor Corinna Smart and Maria Pedro, the Deputy Lieutenant of Hounslow, will be present at a service of dedication at Feltham war memorial, in High Street, Feltham, at 2.30pm, following a parade from Victoria Road.

Heston: Councillor Lily Bath will attend the remembrance service at St Leonard's Church, Heston, starting at 10.30am.

Hounslow: The mayor and Ms Pedro will be at Holy Trinity Church, Hounslow, at 10.30am for a service of remembrance.

Hanworth: Deputy mayor of Hounslow Bishnu Gurung will attend a service of remembrance at Hanworth war memorial. The parade will leave from the Royal British Legion HQ, in Cross Road, at 10.20am.

Isleworth: Councillor Sue Sampson will represent the mayor at a remembrance service at the monument outside St Mary's RC Church, Isleworth, at 10.30am.

Kensington & Chelsea

An act of remembrance will take place at Sloane Square War Memorial this Sunday. The ceremony will start at 10.55am and will be followed by a service at Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Square.

Another ceremony starting at the same time will be held at the war memorial outside St Mary Abbots Church in Kensington High Street followed by a service at the church. Everybody is welcome.
